Counted from the moment you submit your request, a payout usually takes:
3 to 5 business days to reach a crypto wallet
5 to 7 business days to reach a bank account
Some payouts are currently taking longer than that. See below.
Current processing times
We're upgrading a large part of our payment infrastructure to make payments more efficient and easier to forecast. While that work is underway, step 2 below is taking up to 7 to 14 business days instead of the usual 24 to 48 hours. Add that to the standard timeline to work out where your payout sits.
We're sorry for the inconvenience. Once the upgrade is complete, payouts will be faster and more predictable.
Your payout is still moving during this time. You don't need to submit a new request or follow up to keep it in the queue.
The three stages of a payout
1. Internal review, 24 to 48 hours
Our risk team checks that your request meets the consistency and trading rules. This step is unaffected by the current delay.
2. Funds sent to your Rise Wallet, normally 24 to 48 hours
Once approved, we release the transfer to your Rise Wallet. This is the step currently taking up to 7 to 14 business days.
3. Withdrawal from Rise to your final destination
You move the funds from Rise to your bank or wallet yourself. Timing depends on the method:
Crypto (USDT/USDC): usually 30 minutes to a few hours
Bank transfer / ACH: usually 1 to 3 business days, depending on your bank
Step 3 sits with Rise and your provider, not with us, so the current delay doesn't affect it.
What "PAID" means on your dashboard
PAID means the funds have left our system and are sitting in your Rise Wallet. It does not mean the money has reached your bank or crypto wallet.
To finish the payout, log in to your Rise account and withdraw the funds to your chosen destination. Nothing moves out of Rise until you do this.
If your dashboard has shown PAID for more than 24 hours and the funds aren't visible in Rise, contact support.
If it's taking longer than expected
Contact our support team if:
your request was approved more than 14 business days ago and your dashboard still doesn't show PAID
your dashboard shows PAID but nothing has appeared in Rise after 24 hours
you've withdrawn from Rise and the funds haven't arrived after your provider's normal clearing time
Include your account ID and the date you submitted your request. That lets us trace the payment straight away instead of asking you for it first.
